Introduction

PHA-Foundation Ministry of Housing & Work and Housing Department KPK launched a PHA-F Residencia Housing Project at Surizai District Peshawar in joint venture (Government to Government). M.O.U to this effect has been signed between at one end PHA-F and at the other end Housing Department KPK and PHA KPK dated 11th December 2019 which was transformed into a Framework Agreement signed on 03/01/2025.

We are pleased to announce that contractor mobilization has officially commenced at the PHA Residencia Peshawar Surizai Housing Project – a significant step forward in turning vision into reality. Heavy machinery and skilled workforce have now been deployed on-site, marking the beginning of on-ground development activities. This milestone reflects our commitment to timely progress and transparency for all stakeholders, especially the general public and future residents. The Surizai Housing Project, envisioned to provide modern, affordable housing to thousands of families, is being executed with high standards of planning, engineering, and environmental responsibility..

ROLES OF PHA-F (FEDERAL) AND KP-PHA IN PROJECT

PHA-F (Federal) Roles

Execute membership drive, issue allotments, and deliver possession to allottees.
Recover receipts from allottees.
Execute and develop the project, including infrastructure, provision of utilities, and other related works.
Hand over the project to KP-PHA after its completion.

KP-PHA Roles

Provide and secure project land.
Ensure dualization of Ucch Canal Road up to the project.
Construct the main entrance gate and boundary wall.
Facilitate provision of NOCs/permits required from concerned agencies.
Ensure provision of funds as seed money for the project.

Location: Mauza Surizai Bala and Garhi Chandan along Uch Canal, District Peshawar.
Land: Approx. 8500 kanals piece of land.
Construction of Boundary: Walls fall under the scope of KP-PHA.
Master Plan: The subject work was approved by PHA KP on 03-10-2023.
Completion Period: 05 years.
